OUR STORY
Gaston E. Carrizo, founder of Flying Visual Art, Inc., has always recognized the powerful artistic influence of visual storytelling. Growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he spent his weekends at the historic Ferroclub Argentino, a preservation society dedicated to Argentina’s railway heritage. Surrounded by antique locomotives and the passionate volunteers who maintained them, Gaston began photographing the trains—an experience that sparked a lifelong fascination with imagery. This early passion for still photography would eventually evolve into a deeper love for motion, leading him into the world of videography and later inspiring the creation of Flying Visual Art, Inc.
At 23, Gaston moved to the United States on November 1, 2002, determined to pursue a career in film and television production. While studying English at Glendale Community College, he met a friend who helped him land his first job as a camera assistant. Through hands-on training and mentorship from seasoned professionals, Gaston quickly developed a specialty in operating the jib. His dedication and creative eye soon set him apart—earning him and the Univision team an Emmy Award in 2007 for their coverage of the Rose Parade.
In 2006, Gaston launched Gina Productions, his first production company, offering professional camera and jib services. The company allowed him to gain extensive experience across a wide range of projects, including sporting events, talk shows, live performances, music videos, corporate productions, indie films, short films, and online content.
As demand grew, Gaston founded Flying Visual Art, Inc. in 2012. The company has since expanded its reach and collaborated with major networks and global brands such as Disney, NBC, ABC, Riot Games, Universal, Herzog & Co., DreamWorks TV, Red Bull, AwesomenessTV, Nat Geo, IMAX, ESPN, German TV, and many others. Today, Gaston continues to bring a blend of artistry, precision, and technical mastery to every project—capturing visually compelling images that elevate storytelling across film, television, and live entertainment.
